One of our support workers, Olie, is running in this Sunday’s Wilmslow Half Marathon. He is fundraising for Action Duchenne, which is a national charity that aims to find a cure for Duchenne, a severe genetic muscle wasting disease. The condition affects mainly boys and without treatment most of these young men are completely paralysed by their early teens and die by their late teens or early 20s. More funding for research and treatment is needed. if you are able to sponsor Olie please follow the link to the Just Giving page http://www.justgiving.com/Oliver-Lane/?utm_source=Sharethis&utm_medium=fundraisingpage&utm_content=Oliver-Lane&utm_campaign=pfp-email.
